Performances like this are necessary, also to open up fractures that are often recomposed in spaces of solidarity and welcome, and where there is a clear rejection of an economic model, exported by the West, which has created misery even within itself. They are necessary because they help us understand the contradictions that surround us and which do not depend on refugees, who are increasingly being blamed, triggering hatred among the poors and feeding a nationalist and xenophobic right wing. The challenge we face is threefold: environmental, economic and of refugees; challenges that cannot be separated but are strongly interconnected.
