POLIS Teatro Festival 8th edition . May 2-11 2025 . Save the dates!

From May 2nd to May 11th 2025, the city of Ravenna welcomes POLIS Teatro Festival, under the artistic direction of ErosAntEros, which dedicates its 8th edition to an IBERIAN FOCUS, focusing on contemporary theater from the Iberian Peninsula, bringing the protagonists of the European theater scene to Ravenna’s main cultural venues (Teatro Rasi, MAR – Museo d’Arte della Città di Ravenna, Artificerie Almagià, Teatro Socjale) and – for the first time – to Cimitero Monumentale.

Big news of this edition: POLIS NEON, the section dedicated to the Italian under35 scene, realized with the support of MiC and SIAE, as part of the “Per Chi Crea” program.

More than 35 appointments between performances and events with leading names of the new European theater scene, eight national premieres and significant moments of confrontation, round tables between artists, scholars and international professionals, which confirm the festival’s distinctive European artistic proposal, bringing to the theater even people who for economic or social reasons usually do not attend it (more than 100 each year) and hundreds of under30.
